COVID-19 Booster for Children

Children ages 5 to 11 are now eligible to receive a booster dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine after at least 5 months since receiving their initial Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine series. The CDC recommends that eligible children receive a booster shot even if they have already had COVID-19, since the booster will provide added protection.
